Diamond Exploration Strategies Limited (DES) is a privately owned diamond exploration and resource development company with its primary focus in Africa.
The Team’s combined exploration experience and access to information and data allows it to repeatedly identify and propose very high quality exploration targets.
After identification, we secure these targets, either independently or with a funding partner. The company advances diamond exploration portfolios up to mine development stage through effective and rigorous exploration management and execution.
DES, through its 100% owned Botswana subsidiary, Diamexstrat Botswana (Pty) Ltd., has 2,428 km2 of highly prospective diamond licences in four project areas in Botswana.
DES has an “Alliance Agreement” with Burgundy Diamond Mines Limited, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:BDM). Burgundy’s strategy is reshaping itself as a producer of polished Fancy Colour diamonds and consequently DES is currently focused on identifying and securing alluvial and primary diamondiferous deposits that have the potential to produce the high-value, fancy-coloured diamonds.
